• App Permissions:
• Location: The app requires access to your location to pinpoint delivery addresses and show nearby vendors.
• Media & Storage: Access is required to allow users to upload profile pictures or product images (for sellers) and save receipts.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

• Order Fulfillment: Processing purchase operations and handing them over to contracted shipping companies.
• Customer Service: Communicating with you regarding order status, or managing returns, exchanges, and dispute resolution.
• Platform Improvement: Analyzing data to improve user experience and display the most relevant products (e.g., "Featured" or "New Arrivals").
• Legal Purposes: Complying with legal requirements in the Sultanate of Oman and preventing fraud.
• Application permissions: The app requires access to your location to determine delivery addresses and access to your media to upload product images (for sellers) or personal photos.
• We do not use these permissions for any purpose outside of the service.

3. Information Sharing (Third Parties)

As an "Online Marketplace" platform, we may share some of your data with third parties solely to ensure service execution. These parties are:

• Vendors (Sellers): We share the customer’s name, shipping address, and order details with the "Seller" so they can prepare the product (however, we do not share your payment data with the Seller).
• Shipping Companies: We share your phone number and address with the shipping company to deliver the order or collect returns.
• Payment Gateways: To process payments and refund money in cases of returns.
• Legal Authorities: We may disclose your information if required by Omani law or to protect the rights of the Platform.

4. Information Security

The User is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of their account data and password and bears full responsibility for any activity conducted through their account.

We employ technical and administrative security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.

The Platform uses cookies to improve the browsing experience, remember your preferences, and track website traffic for analytical and marketing purposes.

Account Deletion and Data Retention:

• Users have the right to delete their accounts at any time. You can initiate this process directly through the "Delete Account" button within the App Settings or by contacting our support team at support@omanpromo.com. Upon your request, we will delete your personal data (Name, Email, Phone, Address) from our active databases within 30 days.
• However, please note that we may retain certain transactional information (such as order history) for a limited period to comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations in the Sultanate of Oman.
